Animal rights people are idiots. For every animal minus large marine mammals like Orcas, Captivity >Wild. Life spans in captivity can be like 3X longer. The wild is just that - wild. It sucks. I laugh at these videos when they try to re introduce a wild animal that was taken care of for a while and it doesn't want to leave... like.. YA THINK!? If I was an animal and they tried to let me go I'd hang on for dear life. My Tegu lizard was caught wild, he hates the out doors, He walks back to me and claws at my leg to be picked up and brought back in, or he walks to the door and rams it with his head and scratches at it. He doesn't want to be out there.

late to the party but... i love cats and i totally LOVE rats, my grandma once had about 12 cats (excluding cat litters) and i had 3 groups of 12 rats a few years back , i even have rats rattooed on my arm. Rats are like a pocket puppies, super smart, friendly, cuddly, funny and cleaner than cats themselves! Wish we had animal cafes in my country too ;-;

My sister was jogging near a river with her newfie, Sophie, and noticed that a large raft made of logs had come loose from its mooring and had started floating down the river. Being a strong swimmer, she told Sophie to stay on the shore and she jumped in and swam out to the raft to pull it in. After struggling for awhile, she called for Sophie and the dog swam out and pulled my sister AND the raft to shore!
